Self-service car wash

Self-service laundry At our self-service laundries in Madrid, we have large-capacity washing machines:

  • 3 12-kg washing machines (price: €5)
  • 1 15-kg washing machine (price: €6) 

All washes include the products you need to get the professional results you're looking for:

  • Detergent
  • Fabric softener
  • Active oxygen

They offer wash programs according to the required temperature:

  • Cold
  • Warm
  • Hot
  • Very hot 

The wash time depends on the program you choose. Cold and Warm programs take approximately 30 minutes, while Hot and Very Hot programs take around 35 minutes.

Once the washing process has started, the washing machine cannot be opened. 

Fast and efficient drying for all types of garments

Drying

We have ultra-efficient dryers that dry clothes in a minimum amount of time: 

  • 3 dryers with a capacity of 18 kg. 

They offer drying programs according to the required temperature:

  • Cold air
  • Medium
  • High

For €3, you can completely dry a medium-sized load in just 18 minutes! 

Depending on the items being washed, the time required may sometimes be longer (e.g., towels or bathrobes); 

the dryers allow you to pause the drying process and check the moisture level in the clothes by touch, so you can decide to increase the remaining drying time by adding 50 cents for every 3 additional minutes.

(IMPORTANT: During the pause, the time continues to run, so please keep this in mind).

Once the dryer has finished the cycle, another €3 would be required for it to start again.

If you decide to bring your already washed clothes from home to dry in our dryers, keep in mind that you will most likely need additional drying time, since domestic spin cycles are not usually as powerful as those offered by our washing machines. 

Tip for drying down comforters: To achieve a professional finish when drying a down comforter, we recommend that you follow these steps: Put €3 in the dryer and let the 18-minute drying cycle finish. Remove the duvet and shake it vigorously. Put it back in and insert another €3 for another full 18-minute cycle. You'll be surprised at how fluffy your duvet will be...

Payment methods

  • You can pay in cash using €0.50, €1, or €2 coins (we have a change machine for €5 and €10 bills).
  • You can also pay by credit card through our LaunderyApp with a virtual POS terminal, where you can also check the status of the machines and see from home if any are available.
  • Soon, we will also offer payment with a physical POS terminal on each machine.

Recommendations:

It is recommended to check the care labels on garments before selecting a program and to avoid overloading the machines for optimal results.

Washing carpets, pet items, or non-textile objects such as plastic covers, metal items, or hard footwear is not allowed.

Foam items such as pillow or cushion fillings tend to break apart due to the machine’s power. It is recommended to place them inside well-sealed covers to prevent them from disintegrating and going down the drain.
